We just needed to hit the road to a safe area away from COVID. So eight days in far west NSW, mainly staying in caravan parks. Exploring around Broken Hill, Silverton and Menindee Lakes. We had never been there before so it was an adventure. Two adults, two small dogs, 2,500 kms. Birds are our main thing but we ventured into town around the art galleries and historic sites.Thirty eight bird species sighted and, for us, two we had not seen before. The sunsets are pretty spectacular too. Dogs unimpressed with everything except the food and the company.
